en.Wedoany.com Reported - Neural Processing Unit (NPU) developer Rebellions Inc. has acquired artificial intelligence inference optimization company SqueezeBits through a stock swap transaction, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. Rebellions announced on June 30 that it had completed the acquisition through a full share exchange, similar to its 2024 acquisition of SK Telecom's NPU subsidiary Sapeon Korea. However, SqueezeBits will temporarily continue to operate as an independent legal entity. Following the merger with Sapeon Korea in 2024, SK Telecom Co. received shares in Rebellions, holding an 18.1% stake as of the end of the first quarter.
