en.Wedoany.com Reported - Riyadh Air has opened flight bookings to three new cities: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Malaga, Spain; and Dhaka, Bangladesh, as the startup carrier continues to expand its global route network.

On June 29, 2026, Riyadh Air added these three cities to its official website, allowing customers to make reservations online. According to information released by the company, flights to Malaga will commence on July 14, 2026, followed by the launch of services to the Malaysian capital on July 30, 2026, and flights to Dhaka are scheduled to begin on August 7, 2026. Based on the website information, the Dhaka route will operate daily, though this has not yet been officially confirmed by Riyadh Air.

Flights to Malaga, operating three times a week, will continue until September 8, 2026, coinciding with the end of the European summer travel season, while flights to Kuala Lumpur will run year-round, also three times a week. Additionally, flights to Madrid, Spain, are scheduled to begin on July 17, 2026, and flights to Manchester, UK, will start on July 23, 2026.

Currently, Riyadh Air operates flights to London Heathrow Airport (LHR), Dubai, Cairo, and the domestic city of Jeddah. Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas stated that by adding Malaga and Kuala Lumpur, the company is further strengthening its network coverage in key business, tourism, and trade markets, moving closer to its goal of connecting Riyadh with over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030. He added that with the continuous expansion of the route network, Riyadh Air can now provide smooth and convenient transit connections for travelers heading to the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

To date, Riyadh Air has taken delivery of five new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, with a sixth expected to be delivered soon. The company launched its first full-service flight on June 10, 2026, with the inaugural service to London Heathrow Airport. The new airline originally planned to launch the London route on July 1, 2026, but accelerated delivery schedules allowed the inaugural flight to be brought forward by three weeks.
