The collaboration includes managed security services built on the ServiceNow AI platform, as well as AI-driven migration tools developed by Accenture to automate the transition from legacy technologies.

The two companies stated that this initiative aims to address the financial and operational challenges associated with cyberattacks. Citing the latest data, the average cost of a data breach in the United States in 2025 was $10.22 million per incident, a 9% increase year-over-year. The acceleration of AI-driven attacks and shortened response times continue to heighten the urgency for enterprises to modernize their risk management capabilities.

Rex Thexton, Global Chief Technology Officer for Cybersecurity at Accenture, stated that in the face of growing threat volumes and operational complexity, cyber resilience has become a clear business imperative. What enterprises need is not just isolated security tools, but the ability to connect risk insights, automate decision-making, and respond at enterprise scale. By combining Accenture's cybersecurity expertise with the ServiceNow AI platform, organizations can modernize security operations, enhance resilience, and transform cybersecurity into a driver of business confidence and agility.

The new service offers enterprise and third-party integrated risk management, leveraging AI agents to monitor risks, automate vendor lifecycle management, and consolidate risk information within the ServiceNow AI platform. The solution also covers operational technology risk management, unifying IT and OT risks, improving detection capabilities, and supporting deployments in industrial and critical infrastructure environments. Additionally, it features proactive risk management and compliance monitoring, with AI agents responding to regulatory changes to help organizations take preventive measures.

Lou Fiorello, Group Vice President and General Manager of the Security and Risk Product Group at ServiceNow, stated that the future of cybersecurity will be driven by AI-powered autonomous operations. The company is working with Accenture to combine enterprise AI, integrated workflows, and cybersecurity expertise to help organizations simplify security operations, improve resilience, and respond to threats with greater speed and confidence.

The two companies position this solution as a way to reduce disruptions and accelerate the realization of value from modernizing customer security operations amid evolving threats. Last month, Experian partnered with ServiceNow to support enterprises in applying autonomous AI agents in areas such as employee onboarding, model lifecycle governance, and third-party risk management.
