en.Wedoany.com Reported - ESDS Software Solution has launched Artificial Intelligence Autonomous Sovereign Cloud Platform Swaraj Cloud, which operates entirely within India.

Swaraj Cloud runs on ESDS's own physical infrastructure, located within Indian data centers and under Indian jurisdiction, ensuring 100% Indian data residency. The platform offers enterprise-grade computing, AI, security, and developer capabilities, aiming to reduce reliance on external infrastructure. The product design directly addresses regulatory and operational gaps, particularly concerning the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act 2023), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) cloud selection framework for government workloads, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) cloud guidelines on data residency for the banking sector.
Piyush Somani of ESDS noted that India possesses a significant digital public infrastructure ecosystem, yet over 70% of the country's workloads still depend on overseas infrastructure. This dependency leads to economic outflow, strategic vulnerabilities, and growing geopolitical and compliance risks. Somani described Swaraj Cloud as "India's AI sovereign architecture cloud platform, built in India, governed in India, and designed for global scale."
The platform integrates over 30 services with 80 intelligent capabilities, designed to accelerate digital transformation through a unified sovereign cloud ecosystem. Its key feature is the "Prompt-to-Production" architecture, incorporating an integrated solution generator that transforms business requirements into production-ready environments. This solution generator allows enterprises to describe requirements in natural language, which the AI layer then translates into a validated cloud architecture, maps applicable compliance frameworks, generates a bill of materials with Indian Rupee (INR) pricing, and automatically deploys the environment. The workflow includes architecture suggestions with visual previews, bills of materials generated in Indian Rupees, compliance mapping and validation, automatic deployment, and real-time billing previews.
Komal Somani, Whole-time Director of ESDS Software Solution Ltd., stated that Swaraj Cloud aims to eliminate the dilemma faced by regulated Indian enterprises: either capable cloud infrastructure lacking sovereignty, or sovereign infrastructure lacking capability. The platform integrates built-in compliance monitoring and a sovereign AI platform. Beyond the solution generator, Swaraj Cloud offers a complete enterprise cloud stack. The Enlight AIOps platform provides virtual machines supporting Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) for AI model training, hosted Jupyter Notebooks, fine-tuning as a service, automated Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines, model governance, and built-in AI security controls. Infrastructure services include a multi-hypervisor Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform with software-defined networking, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, and elastic IP management. It also offers managed Kubernetes services and an Open Container Initiative (OCI)-compliant container registry with automatic vulnerability scanning. Security operations are supported by a built-in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform employing MITRE ATT&CK threat classification and CERT-In breach notification integration. Compliance as a Service is natively embedded, providing continuous monitoring against PCI DSS, NIST, and Trust Services Criteria (TSC) frameworks, automatic compliance scoring, and one-click audit evidence export. Billing is entirely managed in Indian Rupees, offering real-time usage dashboards and resource-level cost breakdowns.
