en.Wedoany.com Reported - Polymetal International plc plans to launch a processing plant with an annual capacity of 3 million tons of copper ore in the Turukhansky District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory by 2030 under its "Polar Copper" (Полярная медь) project.

Once operational, the plant is expected to produce at least 200,000 tons of copper concentrate annually. The project investment is estimated at 60 billion rubles, primarily funded by the company's own resources, though bank loans may also be utilized under favorable market conditions.

The "Polar Copper" project involves exploration, mining, and production of copper concentrate in the Turukhansky District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (30 km from the city of Igarka). The raw material base consists of deposits in the Chernorechenskaya and Sukharikhinskaya areas.
