en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hikvision's DeepinView series network cameras have obtained EUCC certification, becoming the world's first CCTV camera products to pass this certification. On July 3, 2026, Hikvision announced in Changzhou that its iDS-2CD7x series network cameras successfully received the European Common Criteria Cybersecurity Certification Scheme (EUCC) certification, issued by TrustCB B.V., an organization commissioned by the Dutch Digital Infrastructure Agency (RDI). Independent testing laboratory Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity Europe completed a comprehensive security assessment. The certified products were evaluated according to ISO/IEC 15408 (Common Criteria) and CEM:2022 R1 standards, meeting the EUCC's "substantial" assurance level (equivalent to EAL3 with supplementary ALC_FLR.2 flaw remediation requirements).

EUCC is a newly introduced product cybersecurity framework in the European Union, based on the internationally recognized Common Criteria (CC) standard. This framework systematically verifies a product's security capabilities, development processes, and vulnerability management through independent testing and auditing. In response to the EU's continuously strengthening digital product security requirements, such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) imposing lifecycle security needs for products with digital elements, and the NIS2 Directive enforcing stricter cybersecurity obligations on critical industries, EUCC has become a trusted reference standard for manufacturers and users, particularly applicable in sectors such as government, critical infrastructure, energy, and transportation.
Hikvision adopts a structured "security by design" approach, integrating security principles into the entire product lifecycle from concept to maintenance. This certification confirms the security measures of the iDS-2CD7x series in areas such as authentication, access control, secure communication, security auditing, and vulnerability management.
