According to the agreement, the two parties will conduct joint research on the iterative upgrading of drilling equipment, jointly promote on-site field testing of deep well drilling rigs, and drive the development of in-situ leaching uranium mining borehole construction towards automation, reduced manpower, energy efficiency, and high efficiency. At the same time, based on this drilling rig cooperation, they will expand the breadth and depth of cooperation in areas such as intelligent drilling equipment and drilling Internet of Things technology.

XCMG and the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) have a long history of collaboration, with XCMG's comprehensive construction solutions having been applied in multiple key projects of CNNC. This strategic cooperation with the China Nuclear Northeast Geological Survey Center will integrate the industrial characteristics and core competitiveness of both parties, accelerate the pace of quality improvement and upgrading of drilling equipment, and inject momentum into the high-quality and sustainable development of China's uranium mining and metallurgy industry.

The China Nuclear Northeast Geological Survey Center, formed by the integration of the Nuclear Industry 240 Research Institute and the Nuclear Industry 243 Brigade, is affiliated with the China Nuclear Geology and Exploration Group Co., Ltd. under CNNC Uranium Co., Ltd.
