en.Wedoany.com Reported - Parts on Demand, a Dutch selective laser sintering (SLS) specialist, has expanded its production fleet by adding a third EOS P 500 dual laser system at its Utrecht facility. The company now operates three EOS P 500 platforms running in parallel, each offering a build volume of over 12,000 square centimeters, alongside seven EOS P396 systems, bringing the total number of industrial SLS machines to 11.

The EOS P 500 is a high-output dual laser system designed for volume production rather than prototyping. The company has built its operations around this distinction, producing between 1 and 100,000 identical parts per order, covering six engineering-grade polymer materials: PA12, PA 950 HD, Carbon LW, PA802CF, PA11, and TPU. Standard delivery time is five business days, with expedited delivery available within 48 hours.

Parts on Demand positions itself as a collaborative engineering partner rather than a mere printing service provider. Its in-house application engineering team reviews each project's geometry, wall thickness, material selection, and additive manufacturing design before production. Neil van Es, the company's Chief Geek, stated that most suppliers can reliably handle small batch orders, but customers lack partners designed for volume production. PA 950 HD on the EOS P 500 maintains tolerances within 0.05 millimeters with batch-to-batch consistency. The company serves the European market and holds ISO 9001 certification as an EOS contract manufacturing partner.
