en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ministry of National Education, Literacy and Technical Education of Côte d'Ivoire recently held discussions with private sector partners to accelerate the digital transformation of the country's education system.

Minister N’Guessan Koffi met with Albert Kouamé, General Manager of Quantis Côte d’Ivoire, and Aquilino Atuna, President of SERENEA Group. The meeting focused on expanding digital infrastructure in schools and training institutions.

The discussions centered on a national project aimed at improving access to digital learning resources through the deployment of Mobile Training Units (UMFs), the provision of computer equipment to schools, and the promotion of high-speed connectivity. According to the Ministry, the initiative seeks to modernize the education system by enhancing connectivity, expanding digital access, and improving the quality of teaching and learning.

Officials revealed that the project, implemented under the leadership of the Ministry in charge of Digital Transition and Digitalization, consists of eight main components. Six of these components have been completed, and the next phase will focus on signing technical and financial agreements to ensure full implementation. Minister N’Guessan Koffi reiterated that the initiative aligns with the government's broader vision of building an inclusive, efficient, and competitive education system to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital economy.
