en.Wedoany.com Reported - Renault India has recently given its entry-level hatchback Kwid a minor facelift, with the 2026 model now on sale at a starting price of Rs 4.52 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2026 Renault Kwid is available in two trim levels: Evolution and Climber. The Evolution manual variant is priced at Rs 4.53 lakh, while the automatic (AMT) version costs Rs 4.90 lakh; the Climber manual is priced at Rs 5.15 lakh, with the automatic at Rs 5.61 lakh. Compared to the pre-facelift model, the maximum price reduction is up to Rs 32,000. Booking the Climber version through Renault's official website also offers an additional discount of Rs 15,000.

In terms of exterior design, the Kwid retains the styling proportions of its predecessor. The front features split headlights, a V-shaped grille, and LED daytime running lights, with the main change being the adoption of a new two-dimensional Renault logo, which was first applied to the Triber and Kiger models.

The side profile remains largely unchanged, with only the addition of 14-inch steel wheel covers and roof rails with white inserts. The rear also features the new two-dimensional Renault logo. In terms of colors, the Kwid is offered in Fire Red, Zanskar Blue, Ice White, and Moonlight Silver, with the Climber version coming standard with a black roof and white exterior mirrors.

Interior changes are also cosmetic tweaks, with a new three-spoke steering wheel featuring the updated logo. The cabin continues to offer relatively spacious room in its class, equipped with black fabric seats featuring yellow inserts.

In terms of features, the Kwid is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with manual air conditioning, a semi-digital instrument cluster, power windows on all four doors, two speakers, steering wheel controls, and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors.

Safety features include six airbags, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a rearview camera, traction control, and three-point seatbelts for all seats.

Under the hood, the Kwid is powered by a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 69 PS and a peak torque of 92.5 Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Renault also offers a dealer-installed CNG conversion kit priced at Rs 70,449.
