en.Wedoany.com Reported - The main construction of the Jinan-Binzhou High-Speed Railway, a major national transportation project, has been fully completed. Static acceptance testing began across the entire line on July 6, and the railway is scheduled to open for operation in the second half of this year. The Jinan-Binzhou High-Speed Railway project starts from Jinan East Station and ends at Binzhou Station on the Dezhou-Dajiawa Railway, with a main line length of approximately 145.3 kilometers, a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and an investment of 37.42 billion yuan.

Static acceptance is a core phase of the completion acceptance for high-speed railways, covering specialties such as track works, communications, signaling, power and traction power supply, building construction, and environmental and water conservation systems. It is akin to conducting a comprehensive "physical examination" of the entire line. After the static acceptance is completed, the Jinan-Binzhou High-Speed Railway will initiate dynamic acceptance, organizing and implementing joint commissioning and testing, as well as trial operations, laying the foundation for its official opening.

As a major component of the northern Shandong corridor of Shandong Province's rapid railway network, the Jinan-Binzhou High-Speed Railway will, upon completion, completely end the history of no high-speed rail access in Jiyang District and Shanghe County of Jinan City, as well as the main urban area of Binzhou City. After the line opens, travel between Jinan and Binzhou will be achievable in just half an hour via high-speed rail. It will also connect to multiple national trunk railways, including the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, the Shijiazhuang-Jinan Passenger Dedicated Line, and the Jinan-Zhengzhou High-Speed Railway. The journey from Jinan East Station to Binzhou Station is expected to take only about 30 minutes.
