en.Wedoany.com Reported - Mandrake Resources (ASX: MAN) has entered into a wellhead access agreement with Genesis ST Operating Company to produce up to 95,400 liters of lithium brine from existing wells at its Utah lithium project. The company will extract brine from the Evelyn Chambers 1 well through swabbing operations, targeting existing perforations in the Leadville formation.
This bulk brine will be supplied to Electroflow Technologies' Utah demonstration plant and EnergySource Minerals for comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations. Under the agreement, Mandrake will bear all production costs, estimated at less than $100,000 (approximately A$144,332), with no fees payable to the oil and gas operator. The work is partially supported by $1 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Energy awarded to the Paradox Basin Lithium Group.
Managing Director James Allchurch stated that supplying substantial brine to Electroflow's Utah demonstration plant represents a significant step forward for the company. Mandrake's wholly-owned Utah lithium project covers approximately 379 square kilometers and hosts inferred mineral resources across three formations, estimated at 3.3 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent. Mandrake Resources is a mineral exploration company focused on advancing the Berinka Gold-Copper Project in the Northern Territory and the 93,000-acre Utah lithium project in the United States.
