The state government will allocate 12.40 acres of new land, subject to the outcome of a related case pending with the Survey and Settlement Department; the remaining 12.60 acres will be allocated after the resolution of related pending court cases. According to reports, SISL will pay INR 5 million (USD 52,143) per acre. The government stated that the company must complete the first phase of the project before receiving the remaining land.
In addition to the land allocation to SISL, the government has also allocated 49.93 acres to CtrlS Datacenters Ltd at the APIIC Industrial Park in Rambilli. The company will build a 100 MW data center in Anakapalle district, with an investment of INR 27.883 billion (USD 292 million). Over the next four years, the state plans to increase data center capacity to up to 1 GW. This initiative has attracted companies like Google, which broke ground on its USD 15 billion India AI hub project in Visakhapatnam earlier this year.
