en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has recently initiated a survey on industrial control system-related products and solutions across the province, aiming to comprehensively grasp the current development status of the province's industrial control system industry and lay a solid foundation for the growth of industrial software and intelligent manufacturing sectors.
The survey targets enterprises, research institutes, and various technical service providers registered and operating legally within Hunan Province that are engaged in the research, development, production, system integration, and technical operation and maintenance services of industrial control systems. Submitted products must be technologically mature, stable in performance, safe and reliable, with mass production delivery capabilities or conditions for large-scale application, and must have relevant implementation cases.
The survey scope is limited to industrial control systems and dedicated core components produced within Hunan Province. Specifically, industrial control systems mainly include hardware and software systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Core components cover key parts such as low-power System-on-a-Chip (SoC)/Microcontroller Unit (MCU), high-stability and high-precision measurement elements, and actuating components.
It is understood that the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology will organize, summarize, and categorize the survey data, establish a provincial supply capacity ledger for industrial control systems, and organize activities such as industry chain supply-demand matchmaking and technical exchanges at appropriate times to promote technological iteration, upgrades, and large-scale application of industrial control products. All municipal and prefectural bureaus of industry and information technology are required to submit relevant forms and materials to the designated email address before 17:00 on July 24, 2026.
