The two parties plan to collaborate in areas such as high-performance servers, domestic server R&D and manufacturing, AI hardware, and vertical model innovation, aiming to build a highland for the information technology application innovation industry in Nansha that is rooted locally, radiates to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and serves the whole country.

Liu Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Nansha District Committee; Xing Hua, Deputy Director of the Nansha Development Zone Management Committee and Deputy District Mayor; Wang Xianchao, Chairman of Baixin; and Ni Mingxuan, President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), along with Vice President Li Shiwei, attended the signing ceremony.

Founded in 2014, Baixin has grown into a leading provider of basic IT products in China, with a comprehensive layout in general computing and artificial intelligence computing power, covering products such as domestic computers, computing servers, AI servers, and industrial control equipment.

A relevant person in charge of Baixin stated that the "Nansha Plan" grants Nansha Free Trade Zone unique institutional advantages such as cross-border data pilot programs, helping enterprises collaborate with Hong Kong and Macao to open up cross-border digital service markets. At the same time, Nansha's overall layout in the digital economy, intelligent computing, and integrated circuit industries highly aligns with the company's strategic direction of strengthening the domestic computing power base. With its headquarters as the core, the company will advance the project following the path of "rapid implementation, gradual upgrade, and ecological aggregation," building a South China industrial base in Nansha.

Baixin's settlement in the Wanqingsha Integrated Circuit Industrial Park will deeply integrate into the industrial chain system of Guangzhou and Nansha. Nansha is advancing the "Five Ports Linkage" development strategy—seaport, airport, data port, financial port, and talent port—leveraging platforms such as the National Supercomputing Center in Guangzhou's Nansha Branch and the Global Data Source Center to continuously improve digital infrastructure. After Baixin's landing, upstream, it will collaborate with local chip and software companies to build a supply chain for domestic IT application innovation complete machines; downstream, it will provide domestic servers, IT application innovation clouds, and data security solutions to industries such as automotive, biomedicine, and government affairs. Leveraging Nansha's intelligent computing center resources, Baixin will also co-build industry computing platforms, offer industrial digital transformation services to local manufacturing enterprises, and establish a local operation and maintenance service center to output domestic underlying infrastructure, helping upgrade the regional industrial digital base.

On the day of the event, Baixin also signed a cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) to jointly establish a laboratory focusing on technological breakthroughs and talent cultivation in the field of artificial intelligence. A relevant person in charge of Baixin explained that the resources of both parties are highly complementary: HKUST (Guangzhou) provides cutting-edge algorithms, underlying chip security technologies, and high-end research talent, while the company offers hardware carriers, industrial scenarios, funding, and mass production conversion channels. In the future, the two parties plan to jointly tackle IT application innovation security and cross-border computing power technologies, promote the rapid industrialization of research results, and jointly cultivate composite IT application innovation talents, forming a complete closed loop of "basic research—technological breakthrough—market application."

Baixin's addition further completes Nansha's industrial puzzle in integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy. A South China IT application innovation industry highland, based on domestic computing power and driven by government-school-enterprise collaboration, is rapidly taking shape.
