en.Wedoany.com Reported - ClearVue Technologies announced that its third-generation Vision Glass product has obtained multiple international certifications through independent testing, laying the foundation for the commercial deployment of its building-integrated photovoltaic products in the global market.

Independent testing and certification conducted by TÜV SÜD have enabled Gen 3 Vision Glass to achieve IECEE CB, CE, and TÜV MARK safety certifications. ClearVue stated that the product complies with the latest international photovoltaic performance and safety standards, IEC 61215:2021 and IEC 61730:2023.

ClearVue noted that these certifications validate the product's performance, durability, electrical safety, and long-term reliability, facilitating its adoption in commercial projects across major international building markets.

The certification program covers four Gen 3 Vision Glass models using tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) photovoltaic cells, with power output ranging from 9W to 336W. The certified products feature frameless single and double glazing structures, Class II electrical protection, a maximum system voltage of 1000V DC, and achieve UL790 Class A fire rating.

ClearVue stated that this certification builds on an independent testing program that evaluated electrical performance, environmental reliability, mechanical performance, electrical safety, and structural compliance. Tests included thermal cycling, damp heat aging, humidity-freeze cycling, hail impact, static and dynamic mechanical load, hot spot endurance, potential-induced degradation resistance, and high-voltage insulation assessment.

ClearVue Managing Director Douglas Hunt said the company set testing requirements higher than international minimum standards. Hunt noted that international standards simulate 25 years of aging on buildings, while the company's internal design validation testing subjected the product to twice the required number of cycles.

Hunt pointed out that the Gen 3 glass product recently passed safety glass testing under AS/NZS 2208 and EN1279-5 building standards, including lamination and sealed glazing unit tests. "We believe it is far better to fail in the testing lab than to fail in the field," Hunt said.

He stated that the latest certifications demonstrate the company's ability to design, manufacture, and certify products, reflecting over a year of work by the engineering and product development teams. ClearVue indicated that the IECEE CB certification allows test results to be recognized across more than 50 participating economies, the CE certification provides access to the European Union market, and the TÜV MARK safety certification offers independent verification of product quality, reliability, and safety. These certifications provide a commercial foundation for the international deployment of Gen 3 Vision Glass products.
