The first phase of the program focused on the Al Rahmaniya area, targeting 4,015 homes, with installation expected to be completed by the end of July.
Majid Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Corporate Support at SEWA, stated that the authority has developed a plan aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and responsible resource use, for which it has assigned over 12 specialized technical teams and provided corresponding equipment, tools, and operational support.

The plan also includes communication with homeowners, approval of inspections and installations, technical visits, and the installation of water-saving devices according to required specifications.
SEWA will also conduct customer satisfaction studies and surveys, complete a final evaluation, confirm the number of installations, and prepare a final report on the initiative.
Al Marzouqi stated that the early phases of the program have covered 14,000 homes, with over 210,664 water- and electricity-saving devices and tools installed. Beneficiaries include recipients of the Sharjah Social Services Department and residents receiving the Sharjah inflation allowance.
SEWA reported that the previous phases achieved a 62% water savings rate and a 59% lighting savings rate.
