(formerly Baruch Enviro Infrastructure Ltd) has secured two orders from the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) for the construction, demolition, and related ancillary works of multiple sewage treatment plants in Delhi. The company specializes in providing turnkey solutions for integrated municipal solid waste (MSW) management and hazardous waste management, with a business focus on clean, green, and healthy environments.
The first order covers the design, engineering, construction, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of decentralized sewage treatment plants (STPs) and sewage pumping stations, with specific treatment capacities of: Tikri Kalan 4.5 MGD, Mohamadpur Majri 7 MGD, Ghewra 1.5 MGD, and Khanjawala 10 MGD, along with other related and ancillary works.
The second order involves the construction of a new 20 MGD sewage treatment plant at Yamuna Vihar Phase-I, which includes the demolition of the existing 10 MGD sewage treatment plant. Upon completion of the aforementioned design, engineering, construction, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning works, the facility will enter a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) phase under the responsibility of BEIL Infrastructure Limited.
The project is scheduled for completion within 21 months and represents a critical step in cleaning the Yamuna River by treating sewage generated across various zones. These initiatives are part of the broader efforts for the rejuvenation of the Yamuna, aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and resilience.
The design incorporates advanced odor control systems, green landscaping, and energy-efficient operations to ensure reliable, sustainable, and environmentally responsible performance. Upon commissioning, BEIL will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of these facilities for 15 years, ensuring long-term performance, operational stability, and efficient plant management.
