The document was signed in accordance with the procedural requirements of the tender notice No. 2/2026 issued by the Brazilian National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), concerning the Capacity Reserve Power Auction (Leilão de Reserva de Capacidade na forma de Potência, LRCAP 2026). TBG is the operator of the Bolivia-Brazil Natural Gas Pipeline (Gasoduto Bolívia-Brasil), responsible for transporting natural gas produced in Bolivia to the main consumer markets in southeastern Brazil. UTE Paulínia Verde is being developed by a joint venture formed by Mercúrio Partners, Orizon VR, and Gera Energia. Initially built as a biomethane power generation project, the plant contracted 23.38 megawatts (MW) of natural gas-fired capacity in the 2026 LRCAP auction.
