en.Wedoany.com Reported - The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Office of the Ministry of Finance, and the General Office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration jointly issued the "Notice on Organizing and Implementing the 2026 Insurance Compensation Policy for First (Set) Major Technical Equipment," initiating the qualification review and fund application process for the 2026 insurance compensation policy.
The notice specifies that the 2026 insurance compensation policy for first (set) major technical equipment covers all areas of the "Guidance Catalog for the Promotion and Application of First (Set) Major Technical Equipment (2024 Edition)." In terms of support methods, complete equipment is generally supported by the number of units (sets), while core systems, key components, key supporting parts for major technical equipment, and basic parts are generally supported by batch. For complete equipment with relatively low unit value, such as high-end industrial machine tools, specialized electronic equipment, new agricultural machinery, and precision instruments, support can be provided by batch; for core systems and key components with high unit value, such as aircraft engines and marine engines, support can be provided by unit (set). Both qualification review and fund application follow a three-stage process: enterprise application, review by recommending entities, and verification by departments.
In terms of policy reminders, the notice emphasizes that the qualification review results for the first (set) major technical equipment insurance compensation project will serve as an important basis for enjoying the first (set) policy and will be given priority consideration in other first (set) policies. The notice encourages equipment manufacturing enterprises and underwriting companies to independently negotiate and determine insurance premium rates and types based on risk characteristics such as equipment technology maturity, application scenario complexity, and historical loss ratios. Meanwhile, complete equipment manufacturing enterprises that receive insurance compensation policy support should not require supporting enterprises to pay quality assurance deposits for key systems and components that have already been insured under quality assurance-type insurance in procurement activities; such enterprises should also regularly provide feedback on usage to supporting enterprises, promoting the iterative upgrading of upstream key systems and components and other products.
