en.Wedoany.com Reported - KYG Trade will support members of the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) through educational programs, customs management, supply chain transparency, and practical applications of artificial intelligence.
USFIA and KYG Trade hope this collaboration will help the fashion industry understand emerging trade challenges and the growing role of AI in global trade management.
KYG Trade's platform offers AI solutions for trade functions including trade compliance, tariff optimization, forced labor compliance, free trade agreement eligibility, and product classification.
"USFIA is delighted to welcome KYG Trade as our AI partner," said Julia K. Hughes, President of USFIA. "In today's rapidly changing tariff and trade policy landscape, brands and retailers are seeking innovative tools to help them navigate with speed and confidence. KYG Trade's expertise in AI-assisted trade management will provide valuable insights and resources for companies in the fashion industry."
Earlier this summer, the U.S. Department of Trade accused 60 countries of failing to address forced labor issues. The department stated that the U.S. plans to impose tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on major apparel trading partners, including China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and India.
"We are proud to partner with USFIA and support its members with trade technology solutions in a volatile global trade landscape," said Todd R. Smith, Founder and CEO of KYG Trade. "We aim to make a substantive contribution to helping USFIA members understand the technology and AI solutions available today. Members will receive our support in leveraging AI and trade intelligence to mitigate risks, identify opportunities, and build more resilient sourcing strategies."
