This initiative positions Kuala Lumpur as a key cargo gateway linking Asia with global trade corridors.

The newly launched KUL-BLR-DOH-KUL route, operated by Qatar Airways Cargo's Boeing 777 freighter, offers two weekly flights, providing an additional 200 tons of cargo capacity per week for all product types, including general cargo, perishables, pharmaceutical products, and high-value items. This collaboration integrates MASkargo's Asian network with Qatar Airways Cargo's global coverage system, utilizing Kuala Lumpur and Bengaluru as dedicated gateways, enabling customers to access enhanced connectivity to key markets in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Since the launch of the twice-weekly freighter operations, over 1,000 tons of cargo have been transported, demonstrating strong customer demand for improved cargo connectivity.
