en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Department of Natural Resources of Heilongjiang Province, China, recently announced the second batch of provincial-level green mines for inclusion in its list, with four mines in Heihe City successfully selected.

The Heihe Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources has prioritized green mine construction as a key task, establishing a coordination mechanism with relevant departments, formulating the "Heihe City Green Mine Construction Work Plan," and advancing construction efforts in line with the three-year action plan. To ensure thorough preparation for the 2026 selection process, the bureau invited provincial experts for guidance on two occasions: in April, experts from the Fifth Geological Exploration Institute of Heilongjiang Province conducted specialized training, systematically interpreting national green mine construction standards and providing centralized training for city-wide mining management personnel and mine operators; in late May, relying on the expert group from the Heilongjiang Provincial Institute of Ecological Geological Survey, on-site guidance was provided to help enterprises refine application materials and address shortcomings in on-site creation, effectively enhancing the mines' readiness for inspection and creation.

This year, a total of 10 mines in Heihe City participated in the green mine application, covering mineral types such as coal, mineral water, construction sand and gravel, and marble. Among them, the Guan Niaohe Cement Marble Mine in Nenjiang City applied for national-level green mine status, while the remaining nine mines applied for provincial-level green mine status.

The Heihe Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources will continue to tighten mine supervision responsibilities, strengthen closed-loop management of problem rectification, regularly provide technical assistance and preliminary application reviews, optimize the layout of green mining development, and fully promote the green and low-carbon development of the city's mineral resources.
