en.Wedoany.com Reported - Parsons Corporation has launched its next-generation biometric platform, AresNXT™, designed to serve identity management needs in critical infrastructure, national security operations, and large-scale events.
AresNXT™ supports the collection, processing, and verification of multiple biometric traits and biometric data, including fingerprints, facial recognition, and iris scanning, enabling rapid and informed identity-based decisions. The platform integrates with secure backend repositories to deliver near-real-time verification results and enhance situational awareness.
Martin Boson, President of Parsons' Engineering Systems division, stated that AresNXT™ is designed to meet the growing demand for fast, reliable identity verification in mission-critical environments. By providing a platform that operates securely and flexibly across different devices and operational settings, it helps customers make more accurate and faster identity-based decisions.
The platform integrates AI-driven biometric capabilities along with advanced voice and speech prompts, supports multiple modalities and sensors, and can operate in both connected and offline environments. AI-assisted workflows improve efficiency and consistency. The platform employs encryption technology compliant with standards from the Department of War, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Electronic Biometric Transmission Specification, and integrates with Ares Gateway to ensure secure transactions and centralized data management.
AresNXT™ was developed through Parsons' Internal Research and Development (IRAD) program and is specifically designed to address the need for secure, adaptable biometric solutions in critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement, and event security. The platform features flexible design, ensuring seamless compatibility with iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems, facilitating rapid deployment on existing devices and supporting the growing prevalence of iOS devices. By eliminating reliance on dedicated hardware, the platform simplifies operations and enhances scalability.
AresNXT™ has been validated in real-world environments through pilot deployments testing next-generation biometric workflows. In one pilot project, a federal law enforcement customer deployed AresNXT™ in Washington, D.C., to issue credentials to field agents on iOS devices. Results showed improved speed and accuracy, reduced system complexity, and enhanced interoperability, indicating readiness for operational use.
The platform is part of Parsons' biometric and identity management portfolio, providing end-to-end capabilities—including multimodal data collection, secure identity verification, and enterprise-level integration—to global law enforcement, national security, and critical infrastructure clients, including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, and the Department of War.
