This project has been included in the list of major projects in Jiangsu Province. Once completed and put into operation, it will improve the full industrial chain layout of Rudong's safety protection new materials and support the high-quality development of the regional industry.

The Phase II project has a total investment of 550 million yuan, covering an area of 38 mu with a building area of 30,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in October 2027. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber is a core material in the high-end safety protection field. The Phase II project is a key initiative by Jiangsu Henghui Safety Protection Group Co., Ltd. to deepen its presence in the new materials industry chain, which will enhance core production capacity and market competitiveness, and establish an industry benchmark "Lighthouse Factory."

On September 25, 2024, the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber production project of Hengyue Safety Protection commenced in Rudong Economic Development Zone (High-tech Zone). This project is the Phase II project of the Henghui Safety Protection Industrial Park, with a total investment of 1.25 billion yuan, covering an area of 220 mu, and designed to produce 12,000 tons of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber annually. On September 12 of the same year, Jiangsu Henghui Safety Protection Group Co., Ltd. successfully issued 500 million yuan in convertible bonds to support the project with an annual production capacity of 4,800 tons of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber.
