JetBlue Adds 6 New Direct Destinations for Winter

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Vietnam Airlines is increasing capacity on its Northeast Asian route network, adding new flights from Hanoi and Da Nang. From Hanoi, the airline will increase the Taipei route from 7 to 11 weekly flights between October 26 and November 30, and the Osaka route from 7 to 11 weekly flights, followed by double daily flights starting December 1. From Da Nang, the Seoul Incheon route has been increased to 14 weekly flights, while the Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai routes have been increased to 11 and 5 weekly flights, respectively.

JetBlue Airways is further expanding its Fort Lauderdale route network this winter, adding 6 new direct destinations, including new routes to Colombia, the U.S. Midwest, and the West Coast. A new daily flight to Barranquilla, Colombia, will begin on October 1, followed by the Cali route on October 15. The Columbus and Indianapolis routes will launch on November 2, while the San Diego route will commence on November 19. The airline also plans to launch a Caracas route, pending regulatory approval. In June, JetBlue confirmed a reduction in some operations in the New York area, reallocating capacity to South Florida to capitalize on market opportunities arising from the collapse of Spirit Airlines.

Air Zimbabwe will launch scheduled passenger flights from Harare to London Gatwick on July 22, restoring direct service between Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom. The route will operate 3 weekly flights, departing Harare on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with return flights from London Gatwick on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Initially, the service will be operated using an Airbus A330-300 wet-leased (ACMI agreement) from Spanish carrier Plus Ultra Lineas Aereas.

Norwegian plans to launch a new route from Tromsø, Norway, to Glasgow, Scotland. This seasonal route, operating twice weekly, will begin on December 11, with flights on Mondays and Fridays during the winter season. The flight schedule is designed to meet travel demand for short getaways and longer winter holidays.
