en.Wedoany.com Reported - Cerebras Systems announced plans to expand its AI system manufacturing capabilities and international infrastructure footprint, aiming to increase CS-3 system production capacity by approximately seven times by 2026, while building up to 200 megawatts of AI computing capacity in Europe by the end of 2027. The company has expanded its manufacturing partnership with Flex, adding a dedicated CS-3 production line at Flex's facility in Milpitas, California, and plans to activate its first European data center capacity by the end of 2026.

The Milpitas expansion includes new assembly and integration lines, floor space, automated testing infrastructure, burn-in and validation areas, as well as warehousing and logistics capabilities. Flex and Cerebras have developed specialized assembly processes, tooling, automated test stations, and manufacturing processes for the CS-3, which utilizes Cerebras' wafer-scale processor architecture. Production operations encompass precision mechanical assembly, high-power electrical integration, liquid cooling installation, optical network validation, and full-rack system certification.

In Europe, Cerebras plans to deploy infrastructure in France and the Nordic region, including proposed data centers in Norway and Finland. The company expects to expand its European capacity to 200 megawatts by the end of 2027, with some capacity supporting OpenAI workloads under existing partnerships. Cerebras stated that the regional deployment strategy will bring inference infrastructure closer to European enterprises, research institutions, governments, and other customers seeking locally deployed AI computing capacity.

Dhiraj Mallick, Chief Operating Officer of Cerebras, said: "The CS-3 is unlike any computer system before it, and scaling its production requires an extraordinary manufacturing partner. Flex brings the technical depth, operational rigor, and manufacturing expertise needed to support this scale."
