en.Wedoany.com Reported - Infobip, a global AI-first cloud communications platform celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has announced the acquisition of SocketLabs, a US-based email infrastructure company. Headquartered in the United States, SocketLabs specializes in building infrastructure for large-scale multi-vendor email delivery. This acquisition aims to strengthen Infobip's position in the email infrastructure and deliverability market, expand its platform capabilities, and help enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs) manage, monitor, and optimize email delivery at scale.

Silvio Kutić, CEO of Infobip, stated that the SocketLabs team, based in Pennsylvania, has spent years addressing vendor lock-in issues, providing visibility across email vendors, showing what actually reaches the inbox, and enabling secure, low-risk migrations. He added that, combined with existing capabilities, this makes Infobip the only provider capable of covering the entire email operations of its customers. SocketLabs' customer base is rooted in North America and is growing in Latin America, providing Infobip with a foothold in that market.
This acquisition aligns with Infobip's AI-first strategy. The company now offers its customers the Email Deliverability Agent, and the integration of SocketLabs' analytics capabilities will add value to this AI-driven solution, enhancing enterprises' ability to optimize email performance through intelligence and automation.
Tim Moore, CEO of SocketLabs, said that joining Infobip is a natural next step in its nearly 20-year journey. Infobip's global scale, carrier relationships, and AI-first platform will help accelerate innovation and expand email capabilities to enterprises worldwide.
This acquisition enables Infobip to compete for enterprise and ISV customers seeking a single trusted provider. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
