China Baowu Adjusts Leadership: Hu Wangming Concurrently Appointed Chairman of Baosteel

Hu Wangming attended and addressed a Baosteel cadre meeting for the first time as Chairman of Baosteel, setting clear requirements for Baosteel to take the lead in building a world-class enterprise, deepening internal reforms, and forging a strong cadre team.
On July 7, China Baowu announced: Zou Jixin was appointed as Deputy General Manager of the group (continuing as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee), and Wu Xiaodi was appointed as Deputy General Manager and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee.
On July 7, local time, Hu Wangming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Baowu, visited Thailand to inspect the overseas operations of Baosteel and Baosteel Packaging, emphasizing the need to focus on the overall strategic goal of "world-class," maintain strategic focus, and accelerate the construction of a "more internationalized Baowu" during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
The Party Committee of China Baowu, after comprehensive consideration from multiple dimensions and selecting the best from the best, identified eight projects including Baosteel, Xingang Group, and Baowu Magnesium as the third batch of fully robust demonstration chain construction projects.
On July 7, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held a commendation conference for "Two Excellences and One First" among central enterprises and the SASAC itself. Two grassroots party members, two grassroots party affairs workers, and three grassroots party organizations from China Baowu were respectively awarded the honorary titles of "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Central Enterprises," "Outstanding Party Affairs Worker of Central Enterprises," and "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Central Enterprises."
On July 8, the State Council Information Office held a press conference for Chinese and foreign journalists themed "Strivers on the New Journey." Hao Yali, a member of the innovative R&D team for "hand-tearable steel" at China Baowu's TISCO, was invited to share the R&D journey of ultra-thin stainless steel precision foil.
