(hereinafter referred to as "Zhongjin Lingnan") recently held a review meeting for the site selection demonstration report of the Wanhou polymetallic mine tailings pond at the Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine, in order to practice the FAITH business philosophy, implement the company's "One Body, Two Wings" development strategy, and fully advance the key milestones for the conversion of the Wanhou mine from exploration to mining. The meeting invited seven experts to form an expert panel to review the site selection demonstration report for the Wanhou polymetallic mine tailings pond, including Professor Zhou Xiaowen from South China University of Technology, Senior Engineer Cui Xianwan from Zhongye Changtian, Senior Engineer Tan Haiwei from Mining and Metallurgy Technology Group, Senior Engineer Feng Man from CMOC Group, Senior Engineer Tao Dongliang from Changsha Nonferrous Metallurgy Design and Research Institute, Senior Engineer Chen Zhangyou from Zhongye Changtian, and Senior Engineer Qiu Biao from Guangdong Provincial Mineral Exploration Institute.

The expert panel conducted a field survey at the No. 13 tailings pond site, systematically verifying the site selection conditions, with a focus on examining the topography, hydrogeological and engineering geological characteristics, surrounding engineering facilities, and residential distribution. The Wanhou Project Department and the report preparation unit, Changsha Institute of Mining Research, provided a detailed briefing on the project overview and site selection demonstration work. Following inquiries and discussions, the expert panel concluded that the report was detailed, well-founded, and agreed to pass the review.

The meeting fully acknowledged the efforts of the Wanhou Project Department and Changsha Institute of Mining Research in the site selection work and expressed sincere gratitude to all participating units and the expert panel. The meeting pointed out that the Wanhou project is a key growth point for Zhongjin Lingnan to implement the "One Body, Two Wings" strategy and strengthen the resource security defense line. Zhongjin Lingnan will strongly support the project construction, accelerate the various tasks for converting exploration to mining, increase resource ownership, and facilitate the implementation of the "Revitalization Plan." Next steps include: fully incorporating the expert panel's opinions to optimize the report content to high standards; strictly adhering to high standards in design and construction, fully implementing safety and ecological environment control requirements; strengthening the coordination mechanism among tailings pond construction, resource reserve verification, mining right application, and mineral processing process optimization, to rapidly advance all preliminary work for the exploration-to-mining conversion; and consolidating the foundation of compliance management to ensure all project approval, construction, and operation phases are lawful and compliant.
