en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Department of Industry, Ecological Transition, and Business Digitalization of the Government of Navarra has officially approved and disbursed the first aid payments under the Tximista Auto 2026 Plan. This plan aims to promote electric vehicle mobility and the deployment of charging infrastructure, with applications open until October 31, 2026, unless the budget is exhausted earlier.

The first phase of the Tximista Auto 2026 Plan mobilized €2.5 million, specifically allocated for the electrification of transportation and the construction of charging infrastructure. Of this amount, €1.51 million is designated for the purchase of pure electric vehicles, and €1 million for installing charging points, the latter of which has been fully disbursed. Since the call for tenders was launched on May 1, the first aid approvals were completed in less than two months, significantly shortening the administrative processing period. According to data from the Department of Industry, the average processing time from application to fund disbursement is 42 days, compared to the original plan of three months.
As of now, the Energy Transition Service has processed 535 files related to the purchase of electric vehicles, of which 352 have been approved. These aids have benefited individual owners and businesses for 352 vehicles, including 347 M1-class passenger cars and 5 N1-class light commercial vehicles. Among the subsidized passenger cars, 247 were assembled in Europe. Regarding charging infrastructure, 902 files have been processed, with 819 approved in the first call for tenders.
The total budget for the Tximista Auto 2026 Plan is €3.7 million to promote the purchase of electric vehicles, with an additional €1 million for new charging facilities. The tender stipulates that passenger cars assembled in Europe can receive up to €5,000 in aid, while vehicles manufactured outside Europe are eligible for a maximum subsidy of €2,500. Additionally, these subsidies can be supplemented through income from Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) and tax deductions for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
