At the event, Colosseum IT Consulting Team Leader Jeong Yeon-wook delivered a presentation titled "A New Formula for Introducing Logistics Automation in the Era of Physical AI." He noted that automation deployment typically requires months of time and high costs, primarily due to fragmented decision-making processes involving multiple steps such as proposal requests, price comparisons, and layout discussions. Colosseum Bolt leverages AI to build "Vault CRM," integrating these processes. On-site visits and data collection take about two weeks, while analysis, recommendations, and quotations for basic packages can be completed within two days. Based on the client's on-site diagnosis results, the system recommends the optimal solution from over 50 package combinations.
In the session on automation design and operational strategy, Daim Research AX Business Division Head Hwang Seol stated that the performance of individual equipment does not guarantee overall system efficiency and introduced digital twin-based simulation technology for pre-verifying connection structures and bottlenecks between devices. ASE TECH Executive Director Kang Hee-seok emphasized that inter-system links are more important than individual equipment performance and proposed a data-driven, scalable automation design approach. MOA Systems Director Lee Kyung-jin pointed out that logistics automation should be viewed as an investment rather than a cost, noting that amid labor shortages, automation can simultaneously improve working conditions and on-site productivity.
Colosseum CEO Park Jin-soo stated that Colosseum Bolt integrates the company's accumulated experience from the field and data into a single platform, connecting the entire process from deployment to operation of physical AI equipment. Including multinational companies such as Honeywell, Dematic, and Keyence, the company plans to expand the consortium of 18 partner firms to 25 within this year, aiming to establish South Korea's rapid response capabilities and operational optimization expertise in logistics sites as a global standard. The company intends to build a global supply chain management and operation system with Colosseum Bolt and Colo AI as its two pillars: Colosseum Bolt handles the entire process from equipment deployment to operation, while Colo AI provides data-driven operational software. Through this publicly unveiled partner ecosystem, Colosseum plans to bring its comprehensive automation solution—integrating diagnosis, equipment deployment, and operation—to domestic and international markets, accelerating global expansion through an initial public offering (IPO) by 2028.
