Bodo Möller Chemie Opens AS 9120 Certified Warehouse in India

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Bodo Möller Chemie Group has opened a new AS 9120 certified warehouse in Bengaluru, India, aiming to strengthen its market position in the aerospace sector, primarily serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Boeing and Airbus.

Located in the Peenya Industrial Area of Bengaluru, the 930-square-meter warehouse is one of the few storage facilities in India that meets AS 9120 certification requirements. It features cooling capabilities down to -25°C and is equipped with specialized storage for temperature-sensitive materials such as film adhesives and epoxy resin systems, designed to meet the high standards of supply quality and timeliness required by Boeing, Airbus, and tier-one suppliers.

Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group, stated that India is gradually developing into a strategic hub for aerospace and advanced manufacturing. This investment in new infrastructure reflects the company's confidence in the Indian market and demonstrates its commitment to providing top-tier supply chain and technical support.

India is one of the fastest-growing aerospace markets globally, and Bengaluru is regarded as the country's aerospace hub, providing favorable conditions for establishing a regional warehouse. The new facility aims to ensure short lead times, local material availability, and comprehensive support for aircraft component manufacturing, airframe production, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. With the AS 9120 certification, this facility fills a critical gap in the supply chain, helping OEMs meet their high standards for quality and availability.
