en.Wedoany.com Reported - On November 6, Indian logistics company Safexpress opened a logistics park in Nelamangala, Karnataka, with a facility size of approximately 93,000 square feet (about 8,639 square meters). The new park is located near the Nelamangala–Doddaballapura highway and is Safexpress's 98th logistics park opened in India. The facility is integrated into the Bangalore regional logistics network, serving local industrial and commercial cargo transport and connecting with the company's transport and distribution routes in other parts of India.

Nelamangala is located in the western Bangalore logistics industrial belt and, together with Dabaspete, forms an important local warehousing and logistics cluster. The area is connected via National Highway 48 (NH48) to Bangalore and multiple industrial and consumer markets in southern and western India, with industrial parks, warehousing facilities and freight companies distributed along the route. Compared with central Bangalore, the western logistics cluster can utilize highway trunk lines to organize long-distance freight transport while accommodating the warehousing, transport and regional distribution needs of surrounding industrial enterprises. Safexpress's choice to add a logistics facility in this area aligns with the existing road transport and warehousing industry layout.

Safexpress provides road and air express delivery, third-party logistics (3PL) and supply chain management services in India, covering sectors such as apparel, healthcare, automotive, engineering equipment, consumer electronics and fast-moving consumer goods. According to the company's public information, its national warehousing area exceeds 21.2 million square feet, its operating network covers 31,266 postal code areas in India, and it has more than 14,000 GPS-tracked transport vehicles. With the Nelamangala park joining the existing network, it will become a new logistics node for the company in Karnataka and southern India.

In October 2026, the company opened a 350,000-square-foot logistics park in Vapi, Gujarat, equipped with transshipment and third-party logistics facilities, as well as a cross-docking facility capable of loading and unloading more than 116 vehicles simultaneously. Compared with the Vapi project, the Nelamangala park is smaller in scale. The two facilities are located in western and southern India respectively, forming Safexpress's logistics network layout across different regional transport corridors.
