UAB-Online Relocates to Breukelen to Strengthen Digital Services for Bulk Logistics
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On November 5, UAB-Online, a Dutch provider of digital services for bulk transport, announced plans to relocate its office from Mijdrecht to Breukelen in early 2027 and to open a new office of approximately 540 square meters at Corridor 5. The new location is close to the A2 motorway and Breukelen railway station, which provides rail connections to Amsterdam and Utrecht. The relocation mainly involves adjustments to office space and corporate operational layout, providing new office conditions for employee collaboration, client reception, and international business communication.

UAB-Online mainly provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for liquid bulk and dry bulk transport, connecting port terminals, vessels, ship agents, cargo owners, traders, and inspection agencies. Bulk transport involves multiple stages, including vessel arrival, berth scheduling, cargo information declaration, loading and unloading preparation, and safety document review. Different participants need to continuously exchange estimated time of arrival, cargo information, and operational plans. The company centrally manages relevant information through a unified digital platform, reducing repetitive transmission via email, telephone, and different business systems.
The platform provides vessel visit management, terminal planning, and workflow management functions. Before a vessel arrives, ship agents and relevant participants can submit arrival notifications, safety checklists, and other operational documents; terminal operators can view vessel arrival plans, coordinate berths and loading and unloading resources, and handle related operational matters. For liquid bulk terminals, there is a strong temporal correlation among vessel arrival time, berth scheduling, and loading and unloading preparation. Unified management of this information helps reduce communication delays in operational handovers and improve the efficiency of terminal resource coordination.
According to data published by UAB-Online, its digital platform has connected more than 100 terminals, has more than 10,000 users, and has cumulatively processed more than 1 million vessel visits. Its customers and partner organizations include energy, chemical, and liquid bulk storage and transportation companies such as BP, Shell, TotalEnergies, BASF, Odfjell, and VTTI.
