en.Wedoany.com Reported - ENOSA, the Peruvian public electricity service company, is implementing a public lighting modernization project in several areas of the Tumbes region, replacing traditional luminaires with LED technology and carrying out maintenance work to improve lighting efficiency and service reliability.

In the area behind the Zorritos market, ENOSA replaced 12 old luminaires with new LED fixtures. This improvement makes street and public space lighting more efficient, enhancing safety for pedestrians and drivers, while also contributing to energy savings and the modernization of the public lighting system.

The project also extended to the Canoas de Punta Sal district, where ENOSA restored public lighting in the Cancas and Plateritos areas. As part of the intervention, workers replaced 21 LED luminaires, improving lighting conditions in these areas, reducing the need for frequent maintenance, and providing more reliable service to residents.

Additionally, in the Virgen del Cisne settlement within the Andrés Araujo Morán residential area, ENOSA modernized the public lighting system by installing 19 new LED luminaires. This upgrade will improve nighttime visibility, enhance safety conditions for pedestrians in the area, and contribute to a better quality of life for families.

Before completing each upgrade, ENOSA technicians inspected the operation of all installed luminaires to ensure normal service from the moment of commissioning.
