en.Wedoany.com Reported - SITC has officially launched a new container yard in Da Nang, Vietnam, to strengthen its inland service capabilities in the central region. The yard, jointly developed by SITC Logistics and local partner Da Nang Depot, covers an operational area of approximately 36,000 square meters, aiming to optimize SITC's logistics layout in Vietnam.

Currently, SITC has established and jointly operates five container yards across Vietnam, with partner terminals including Ho Chi Minh New Port, Giangnam Depot, Dinh Vu Port, and Hai Phong Port. These five yards have a total operational area of approximately 450,000 square meters, forming a container service network covering northern, southern, and central Vietnam.

SITC stated that the newly launched Da Nang Depot, as a key logistics hub in central Vietnam, fills a network gap in the region, significantly enhancing end-to-end logistics service capabilities, regional cargo turnover efficiency, and supply chain resilience. The yard provides container storage, handling, maintenance, and inland distribution services for local importers, exporters, and shipping customers, supporting cross-border trade development in the central region.

SITC stated that it will advance the digitalization, intelligent upgrade, and green transformation of its global container yard system in the future. By deepening cooperation with local customers, port authorities, and industry partners, it aims to upgrade Vietnam's modern logistics industry, promote smooth regional maritime trade, and foster sustainable economic and trade development in Southeast Asia.
