Founded in 1958 and located in Baiyun District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, Guizhou Aluminum Plant is a key aluminum smelting and processing enterprise under Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, with an annual production capacity of approximately 400,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum. It is primarily engaged in electrolytic aluminum production, aluminum processing, and industrial technical services. The electrolyte ladle is a specialized piece of equipment used in electrolytic aluminum production for transporting molten cryolite electrolyte, requiring long-term stable operation under high-temperature and highly corrosive environments, making it one of the critical process equipment in the aluminum smelting industry. Leveraging years of electrolytic aluminum production experience and technical accumulation from Guizhou Aluminum Plant, the Industrial Technical Service Branch has developed a comprehensive professional technical system for the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of electrolyte ladles.

Key indicators such as environmental emissions, operational reliability, and multi-level protection have reached advanced levels comparable to international equipment of the same type, fully meeting the continuous transport needs of molten cryolite electrolyte in large-scale electrolytic aluminum production lines. India is the world's second-largest producer of primary aluminum, with an output of approximately 4.4 million tons in 2025. Its electrolytic aluminum capacity continues to expand, driving strong demand for imported specialized aluminum smelting equipment.

The project execution faced multiple challenges, including tight delivery timelines, dense non-standard processes, and complex cross-border logistics. Guizhou Aluminum Plant coordinated the entire chain of resources, including technical R&D, intelligent manufacturing, quality inspection, and international trade, refined node control, and established a full-process quality traceability system. It completed the processing, assembly, performance testing, and containerized shipment of all equipment in just 50 working days, while also achieving full payment collection ahead of schedule.
