en.Wedoany.com Reported - enQase, a company specializing in quantum security and enterprise cryptographic agility, announced that its enQase FIPS 140-3 Cryptographic Module has been awarded the FIPS 140-3 certificate, number #5346, through the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP).

Issued in accordance with Federal Information Processing Standard 140-3 (FIPS 140-3), this certificate indicates that the module has completed the validation process of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) CMVP. The CMVP has listed the enQase FIPS 140-3 Cryptographic Module as an active FIPS 140-3 validated software cryptographic module, with an overall validation level of Level 1.

The enQase FIPS 140-3 Cryptographic Module is a standards-based cryptographic engine suitable for networks, servers, devices, edge devices, IoT, and enterprise applications. It provides FIPS 140-3 cryptographic functionality to support secure deployment on supported platforms.

Rajesh Patil, CEO of enQase, stated that FIPS 140-3 validation is a significant milestone for enQase and for organizations requiring independent verification of cryptographic capabilities. As enterprises, government agencies, and critical infrastructure providers prepare for a quantum-safe future, validated cryptographic modules are a foundational element for trust, compliance, and long-term security readiness.

FIPS 140-3 is the current US government standard for security requirements of cryptographic modules. Validation through the CMVP provides organizations with a recognized basis for evaluating cryptographic modules used to protect sensitive information.

Patil added that, together with enQase's portfolio of 15 US and international patents, this certificate reinforces enQase's commitment to innovation and standards-aligned, practical quantum-safe solutions. As customers work to modernize their cryptographic infrastructure and prepare for post-quantum requirements, FIPS 140-3 validation adds confidence that enQase is building on a reliable and verifiable foundation.

The enQase FIPS 140-3 Cryptographic Module has been validated by DEKRA Cybersecurity Certification Laboratory and is now fully activated. The certificate can be verified via entry #5346 in the NIST Computer Security Resource Center.
