en.Wedoany.com Reported - Renoz Energy, a Perth-based battery manufacturer in Western Australia, stated that combining solar panels with battery storage is helping enhance energy security in urban fringe and remote markets. The company noted that solar power already plays a significant role in the state's energy mix.

Simon Chan, CEO of Renoz Energy, said Western Australia is leading the nation in battery adoption, with technological advancements, improved affordability, and reduced reliance on traditional energy driving energy independence. He added that the company has seen a surge in inquiries and installations as property owners seek greater energy reliability, with demand particularly strong from owners in urban fringe and remote areas—some off-grid, some on the grid's edge, and others seeking higher resilience and long-term cost savings.

Renoz Energy offers Australian-designed energy storage solutions for residential and commercial applications. The company stated that solar power supported by batteries can store and use on-site generation after sunset, enhancing energy security and flexibility.

Chan introduced a recently commissioned system at a residence in the Perth hills that also serves as a commercial flower farm and nursery, demonstrating how integrated solar and battery storage can transform energy access in rural and remote areas. Renoz collaborated with Perth solar installer Gala Energy Systems on the project, combining 18 kW of solar, a 32 kW inverter, and a 50 kWh Renoz LV Stackable battery to power both the home and commercial enterprise, including pumping water through an extensive on-site irrigation network.

Chan stated that the system has already demonstrated its advantages, continuing to operate even when a major storm hit the area last month. He noted that while much of the surrounding region suffered power outages from the once-in-50-year storm, the newly commissioned system maintained 100% uptime, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the home and business.

Chan pointed out that the project is part of a growing trend among remote area and agribusiness operators seeking energy security for both home and commercial use. Renoz batteries have been deployed in a range of remote area projects across Western Australia and Queensland, where owners seek greater energy resilience and reduced reliance on diesel and alternative energy generation and storage. He added that customers also want to future-proof their systems by expanding battery capacity, with demand emerging for larger systems. This year, the average battery energy storage system installation is a 50 kWh system, offering greater flexibility and resilience under challenging conditions.

Chan said Renoz Energy recently surpassed 1 MWh in battery sales and has shifted most of its focus to urban fringe and remote markets in recent months, noting that this is where the company can have the greatest impact. He stated that the company has pivoted to delivering value in this market, enabling businesses and property owners to reshape farm power economics and better control operating costs.
