en.Wedoany.com Reported - Kingfisher Mining Ltd has encountered high-grade copper-gold mineralization during reverse circulation drilling in the northern zone of the Copper Blow Project in Australia. At the project near Broken Hill, New South Wales, the company achieved a drill result of 26 meters at 2.57% copper and 0.75 g/t gold from a depth of 73 meters, including 13 meters at 4.07% copper and 1.20 g/t gold, as well as a high-grade interval of 4 meters at 7.06% copper and 2.38 g/t gold.
A second drill hole intersected 43 meters at 1.32% copper and 0.32 g/t gold from surface, including 17 meters at 2.46% copper and 0.60 g/t gold from a depth of 16 meters.
Kingfisher Mining Ltd Managing Director Chris Bittar said the company is encouraged by these results. The mineralization zone is characterized by shallow, broad, and continuous features, with the high-grade intervals being significant for the ongoing initial mineral resource estimate. The company plans to incorporate the latest drill results into the geological model and prepare for the next phase of drilling combining reverse circulation and diamond drilling. Diamond core will support metallurgical test work targeting oxide, transitional, and sulfide ores.
Beyond the defined mineralization extent, geophysical targets have identified additional anomalies along a roughly 4-kilometer-long, largely unexplored magnetic anomaly zone, which will provide further exploration potential once preliminary resource work is completed.
