en.Wedoany.com Reported - Megafon has built a new 4G/LTE standard base station in a large residential complex along Ignatyevskoye Highway in Blagoveshchensk, Russia, providing local residents with mobile internet services at speeds of up to 40 Mbit/s. The base station supplements the existing telecommunications infrastructure, aiming to address the increased network load in the area caused by the rise in new housing construction and growing user numbers.

Located in the new building zone between Teplichnaya Street and Vasilenko Street, the base station's equipment layout covers newly built residences, surrounding residential areas, shops, community social facilities, and the main outbound traffic hub leading to the airport, ensuring stable connectivity for users in these areas. The increased network capacity supports high-bandwidth applications such as video calls, streaming platforms, cloud storage, and smart home ecosystems.

Maxim Dudkin, Director of Megafon in the Amur Region, stated that the area is actively being developed with a continuous increase in user numbers, and adding the base station is a timely solution to ensure high-quality mobile communications. Alexey Torutantov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Amur Region, noted that providing high-quality mobile communications and high-speed internet to residents of the complex is an important task for the region, and the activation of additional telecommunications equipment makes modern digital services more accessible.
