en.Wedoany.com Reported - ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (India) has officially launched the STT Jaipur 1 data center, an artificial intelligence-ready facility located in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, India. Spanning 95,300 square feet, the facility is situated in the RIICO industrial area on Tonk Road, adjacent to network access points (PoPs) of major internet service providers, and is specifically designed to meet low-latency connectivity needs in northern India.

STT GDC India stated on LinkedIn that the facility is designed to support Rajasthan's digital growth, economic development, and technology-driven future. STT Jaipur 1 will provide up to 6 MW of critical IT load capacity and adopt a carrier-neutral connectivity model, serving enterprises, hyperscale cloud providers, cloud providers, and government organizations, delivering the performance, reliability, and scalability required for their AI, cloud, disaster recovery, and edge deployments.
In terms of power and infrastructure, STT Jaipur 1 is powered by dual, diverse, and redundant 33 kV utility feeds from the 220 kV and 132 kV Sitapura substations. The facility is equipped with N+N configured modular UPS systems, N+C generator backup, and fully concurrently maintainable infrastructure, ensuring operational resilience with an uptime service level agreement (SLA) of up to 99.982%.
STT Jaipur 1 is part of STT GDC India's network of 34 data centers operating across 10 cities, with a total critical IT load capacity of 613 MW. In March of this year, STT GDC India also broke ground on its first data center at the new Palava campus in Maharashtra, western India, with an initial IT load capacity of 50 MW on a 46-acre site.
