en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russia's Nordgold Development has completed the acquisition of 100% of the equity in Novaya Syryevaya Kompaniya. Nordgold, owned by Alexey Mordashov, through its subsidiary Nordgold Razvitie LLC, finalized the purchase of 100% of the registered capital of Novaya Syryevaya Kompaniya (NSK) LLC on July 7 this year.

As early as the 2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Novaya Syryevaya Kompaniya signed an agreement with the government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug to establish a gold mining enterprise. The company holds a geological exploration license for the Lenotap gold field area, which has predicted resources (P1+P2) of 69 tonnes of gold. According to the original plan, reconnaissance assessment and geological exploration work will be carried out between 2025 and 2028, with the enterprise expected to commence operations in 2032.

The investment scale for the project in 2025 is estimated at 500 million rubles in the first phase, with funds allocated for field operations, drilling, laboratory research, and the establishment of a geological database required for design.

Over the past year, Nordgold has actively expanded its mineral resource base. In December 2025, Nordgold Razvitie acquired 100% of the equity in Aeris, which holds exploration licenses for two copper mines in the Magadan Region. This spring, the company also acquired a 20% stake in Ossorskaya Gornaya-Geologicheskaya Kompaniya (Ossorskaya GGK), which holds gold geological exploration licenses in the Kamchatka Territory.
