en.Wedoany.com Reported - JA Solar shipped its first batch of modules to Abu Dhabi in July this year, with a total order size of 3GW, making JA Solar the largest photovoltaic supplier for the UAE's RTC solar-storage project. In 2025, the project was announced by international renewable energy company Masdar, which named JA Solar as the preferred supplier.

The UAE RTC solar-storage project is the world's first benchmark renewable energy project to achieve "Round The Clock (RTC)" power supply. Expected to be fully operational by 2027, it is currently the world's largest integrated solar-storage project. The electricity generated will be used to meet the growing energy demands of local artificial intelligence infrastructure.

This project has positioned JA Solar's product solutions as the preferred choice for green power supply for AI computing, earning recognition from top-tier global artificial intelligence data center (AIDC) energy projects. As the largest supplier, JA Solar has demonstrated its global presence, delivery capabilities, and localized service capabilities in this collaboration.

JA Solar's DeepBlue flagship modules have been used in this project. These modules are deeply tailored for AI computing energy scenarios, offering six key value dimensions: high power generation, high fire resistance, high load capacity, hail resistance, high temperature tolerance, and self-cleaning. They meet the core requirements of AIDC energy projects, including high-load operation, extreme climate tolerance, high safety standards, low maintenance needs, and large-scale centralized deployment.

As global computing power continues to surge significantly, AIDC has become the primary power load scenario in the digital era. During the 2026 Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich, Germany, JA Solar and Deloitte jointly released the white paper "Driving AI Greening with Green Token Index (GTI)," introducing green attributes into AI computing units for the first time. This initiative promotes the transition from green electricity to green computing, providing a measurable, comparable, and identifiable governance tool and implementation path for the green management of AI.

From ensuring reliable GW-level green power supply to establishing quantifiable green computing standards, JA Solar is deeply integrating photovoltaic technology with the evolution of the AI industry. Through continuously iterating product solutions and industry insights, it provides support for the green energy foundation of the artificial intelligence era.
