China-Europe Railway Express (Fuzhou) exceeds 1.6 billion yuan in import and export value over 4 years of operation

en.Wedoany.com Reported - At around 1:00 p.m. on July 17, a China-Europe Railway Express loaded with 55 containers slowly departed from the Fuzhou Jiangyin Railway Logistics Park. It is expected to exit China via the Erenhot port and head to Moscow in about 3 days. Since its launch in July 2022, the China-Europe Railway Express (Fuzhou) has seen its total import and export value exceed 1.6 billion yuan over four years of operation.

"The Fuzhou Railway Logistics Center has innovated models such as 'train + sea-rail intermodal transport,' 'train + cold chain,' and 'train + trade,' achieving seamless connections where 'goods can be transferred from train to ship and from ship to train upon unloading.' Taking the China-Europe Railway Express, it takes only 15 days to travel from Fuzhou to Moscow, shortening the transportation time by nearly 20 days compared to traditional sea freight, and reducing costs by more than two-thirds compared to air freight," introduced Yu Lei, manager of the Putian Business Department of the Fuzhou Railway Logistics Center under China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd.

Over four years of operation, the China-Europe Railway Express (Fuzhou) has operated a total of 77 trains, transporting 7,918 TEUs. The types of exported goods have evolved from the initial single category of baby and daily necessities to now covering over 200 types of "Made in China" products, including auto parts and generator sets.
