en.Wedoany.com Reported - FFAI, the artificial intelligence subsidiary of US-based Faraday Future, is accelerating its expansion into the commercial robotics sector following its participation in the Automate 2026 exhibition in Chicago. The company showcased its robotics platform based on the "One Brain, Multiple Forms" concept and provided updates on its first-half shipment targets.
FFAI expects to ship over 100 robots in June, bringing total deliveries in the first half of the year to more than 220 units, surpassing its original target ahead of schedule. At the exhibition, the company displayed a portfolio of robots including humanoid robots, mobile manipulators, and education-focused systems, all built on its universal Embodied AI (EAI) software platform. Exhibits included the new Futurist humanoid robot, with a starting price of $89,900 (including software package). According to FFAI, this robot is the first full-size humanoid robot in the US to natively support the Nvidia Sonic full-body motion control system. It stands approximately 1.73 meters (5 feet 8 inches) tall, weighs about 55 kilograms (121 pounds), and is powered by a dual-battery system capable of continuous operation for up to 6 hours.

FFAI also launched the FF Faber series of mobile manipulators, designed for industrial applications covering warehouse logistics, factory operations, and facility inspections. The series includes the Faber T (reportedly already deployed in power inspection and data center applications) and the AI-driven Faber U. FFAI stated that this product launch marks its expansion from education-focused robotics into industrial automation, targeting commercial deployments in manufacturing, logistics, and research. During the exhibition, the company also outlined its broader strategy centered on an open embodied AI ecosystem, specifically including the EAI Brain software platform, an open developer environment, and the EAI Data Factory, designed to collect operational data from deployed robots to continuously improve AI performance. FFAI stated that this approach combines multiple robot forms with a shared AI platform and ongoing real-world data collection to support future software updates and new applications. The company noted that during Automate 2026, its robot exhibits attracted significant attention, with visits from national television networks, industry media, as well as researchers and developers who toured the demonstrations.
