(SSI) operations. The ARES precast concrete system, acquired from Tensar Corp., helps EKHO better support projects that require synthetic soil reinforcement technology or allow the use of on-site native backfill due to corrosion considerations or project specifications.

With approvals in 37 states, Justin Wexler noted that the addition of ARES significantly expands EKHO's coverage in the U.S. retaining wall market. Justin Wexler, the company's Chief Operating Officer, stated that ARES has one of the broadest approval footprints in the industry, enabling the company to immediately enter key markets where it previously lacked geosynthetic products, including California, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Florida. The GIS and SSI teams bring specialized technical expertise, established market influence, and extensive experience supporting transportation and large-scale civil infrastructure projects. The integration of GIS, SSI, and ARES complements the transportation agency products from sister company EKHO divisions, which provide precast concrete sound barriers or crash barriers and short-span bridge structures. The producer serves the highway and road, energy and utility, rail and transportation, and commercial and industrial sectors, with plants across six facilities in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and South Carolina, as well as two plants in Ontario, and a distribution center in California.
