(Guofu Hydrogen) has signed a supply contract with RCT GH GmbH (RCT Hydrogen) to provide core equipment for a 10MW electrolyzer project in Sines Port, Portugal. This is one of the first large-scale commercial orders for the company in Europe, marking its entry into the European green hydrogen equipment market through a localized joint venture model.

Located at Sines Port in Portugal, the project plans to build a 10MW alkaline pressurized electrolyzer system, complemented by a network of green hydrogen refueling stations and ultra-fast electric vehicle charging points. The goal is to create a comprehensive green hydrogen energy hub integrating hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and refueling. The core equipment for the project will be delivered by 2026, with commercial operation expected to commence in summer 2027. The green hydrogen produced will not only supply the transportation sector but will also be blended into the natural gas pipeline network operated by Portuguese energy company EDP, supporting Portugal's energy transition.

RCT Hydrogen is a joint venture between Guofu Hydrogen and RCT Holding, covering local manufacturing, after-sales service, and maintenance of electrolysis equipment, as well as providing overall solutions including engineering design and EPCM. As the equipment integrator for this project, RCT Hydrogen is responsible for the integration and delivery of the overall system, while Guofu Hydrogen supplies the core hydrogen production equipment. This 10MW turnkey delivery contract requires providing a turnkey solution compliant with EU regulations for the client. This not only recognizes the integration and engineering design capabilities resulting from the collaboration between Guofu Hydrogen and RCT but also serves as practical proof of the market prospects of this partnership and business model.
