The company, which has been exhibiting for over three decades, centered its display on the "Smart Mixing" concept. This concept integrates modern color measurement, intelligent software, artificial intelligence, and automated mixing technology into a seamless digital workflow, aiming to simplify processes, save time, and ensure maximum color accuracy with repeatable, consistent results. MIPA's software solution supports location-independent color measurement, allowing measurements to be taken directly on the vehicle. The measurement data is transmitted via the cloud to mobile devices or workstations for color evaluation, formula selection, and color mixing.

MIPA showcased the complete Smart Mixing concept, including fully automatic and semi-automatic mixing systems. The fully automatic Mipa Abtönautomaten CR 4 and CR 6 use volumetric dosing technology to achieve high-precision mixing even for quantities as small as 0.01 grams. The semi-automatic alternative, Mipa Sunrace, dispenses directly from original Mipa WBC tinting pastes without the need for decanting, and features intuitive visual operation guidance.

In the industrial coatings sector, MIPA presented the X-Rite MA 5C color measurement device, combined with the Pro Mix Industry and Pro Mix Aqua mixing systems, for precise color matching. A key highlight was the new Pro Mix Powder Pigments Decorative Metal, which creates surfaces with a realistic metallic look and feel. These pigments can be combined with Pro Mix Industry base paints to produce sprayable coatings containing real metals such as zinc, brass, bronze, copper, iron, or graphite.

MIPA also introduced energy-saving systems and products that ensure high application reliability even at elevated temperatures, meeting the demand for economical and sustainable processes in modern paint shops. Visitors can experience these latest innovations from September 8 to 12, 2026, at MIPA booth F.02–F.04 in Hall 11.1.
